Aurora Marble Care & Use Guide
Crafted with care. To Be Treated with Care.
Thank you for choosing Aurora Marble. Each of our pieces is crafted by experienced artisans using natural marble, a material admired for its timeless beauty and lasting strength. Like all natural stones, marble requires thoughtful care and proper handling to preserve its integrity.
This guide outlines recommended care practices and important usage considerations. Please note that many types of damage result from improper use, and as such, fall outside our area of responsibility.

Cleaning & Daily Maintenance
To maintain the natural elegance of your marble piece:
✅ Recommended Care
- Clean with a soft cloth and warm water.
- A small amount of pH-neutral soap (non-acidic) may be used for deeper cleaning.
- Dry all surfaces thoroughly to prevent water marks or surface dulling.
- Dust regularly using a microfiber cloth.
- Wipe immediately any spills to avoid staining.
❌ What to Avoid
- Avoid all acidic or abrasive cleaning agents, such as vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, ammonia, or alcohol-based products.
- Refrain from using scouring pads, rough sponges, or steel wool, as these may scratch the marble surface.
- Do not use general-purpose or bathroom cleaners unless they are explicitly labeled safe for natural stone.
Cleaning with substances not suitable for marble may result in staining or etching. These effects are irreversible and are not considered production-related issues.

📦 Handling & Usage Guidelines
While marble is robust, it is not immune to stress or impact. The following usage considerations are essential for long-term preservation:
During Handling or Moving
- Always lift the product fully — do not drag or slide on floors or surfaces.
- Two or more person handling is strongly recommended for heavier items, especially tables and larger decorative pieces.
- Support the item from the base or underside, avoiding pressure on thinner or extended edges.
For Tables & Furniture
- Do not apply body weight or lean against tabletops. These are not designed to support sitting or heavy pressure.
- Use coasters, placemats, and protective mats under objects to prevent scratches and stains. Do not cut directly on the table, always use Cutting board.
- Avoid placing heavy or sharp items directly onto the surface.
- Do not place hot items (e.g., pots, hair tools, candles) directly on marble surfaces — use a trivet or heat pad.
For Bathroom Accessories
- Rinse off soap, toothpaste, cosmetic residue and other chemicals regularly to avoid long-term staining.
- Dry surfaces after water exposure to prevent mineral buildup or water rings.
- Avoid contact with perfumes, nail polish removers (acetone), and strong skincare products.
For Decorative Items
- Position carefully to avoid tipping or falls, particularly near edges or high-traffic areas.
- Use soft pads beneath items if placed on delicate or polished surfaces.

Other important factors
Environmental Factors
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can cause color shifts or surface fading over time.
- Keep away from excessive moisture or humidity, especially for indoor-use products not designed for bathrooms or outdoor settings.
Natural Characteristics of Marble
Each piece from Aurora Marble is one of a kind. Variations in veining, texture, and color are part of the stone’s natural beauty and not considered flaws. Some patina or minor surface shifts may develop over time, which is a normal part of the aging process.
